Glove Benefits

The 33-inch circumference combined with a solid H-Web creates a deep, secure pocket designed to snag fastballs and keep wild pitches safely contained. This pattern gives catchers a large target area for pitchers to hit while offering the structural stability needed to frame pitches cleanly at the edges of the zone. The solid web construction ensures maximum pocket durability against high-speed fastpitch deliveries.

Engineered with Rawlings' player-preferred ContoUR Fit, this model features smaller finger stalls and an adjustable pull-strap closure for a locked-in, custom fit. This design eliminates slipping during rapid movements, helping young catchers pop out of their stance and throw out runners with maximum transfer speed. Padded fingerback linings ensure supreme interior comfort throughout long doubleheaders behind the dish.

Constructed with a full-grain leather shell, the R9 Series includes a reinforced palm pad and padded thumb loop to absorb heavy impact and prevent hand sting from hard-throwing pitchers. Featuring a massive factory break-in, this mitt requires minimal effort to get field-ready. Finished in a bold Navy, Mint, and Pink colorway, it combines high-level defense with a vibrant, standout look.
